Information about Crimping Hoses:

• The crimp ferrule, hose, and dies have to MATCH in both size and type. 

• The old style clamps WILL NOT WORK on barrier hoses.  Pressure applied by clamps to the nylon inner liner on barrier hoses is insufficient to grip the hose barb or bead;  thus the hose will blow off of the fitting, especially on the high pressure side.

• Barrier hoses are an EPA requirement, but there are "standard" & "low profile" (reduced diameter) varieties. Neither the parallel nor bubble crimpers will crimp low profile hoses, unless special crimp dies/adaptors are used. If you don't want the hassle and cost of building your own hoses, send them to us. We can convert metric or low profile to standard hose sizes for you, if you give us fitting size, angle, hose length.

  HOW TO ORDER: 

  1. Draw a sketch, then fax it to (713) 688-6776 for a quote. 

  2. Upon your approval of our quote, send the old hose by UPS (if we are to rebuild it, or will need to utilize some of its unique parts).

  3. Payment is required at the time of QUOTATION APPROVAL, prior to your shipment of the hose to us.  Most major credit cards are accepted or over the internet using "Pay Pal".

  4. You pay the freight ONE-WAY ___when shipping to us.  

  5. We pay the RETURN freight ___ when shipping back to you.

  6. Turnaround time is usually 1 or 2 days after receipt of the hose.

  7. Note:  UPS is usually the most cost effective way to ship.
